“The fine print and other information of Angel Eye Rags”

For Pet and/or Show quality kittens the TICA papers will not be released until the buyer provides proof of altering. All our kittens are sold on kitten contract. The kitten contract is a written agreement between seller and buyer in which the buyer agrees to care for and provide for the kitten. This agreement also binds the buyer to accept responsibility for said kitten.
There are no refunds or exchanges on kittens purchased from Angel Eye Rags. The reason being we feel that can’t control the environment the kittens may be exposed to once they leave our home. If you kitten dies due to a genetic defect we will replace your kitten free of charge for the first 2 years of the kitten’s life. **

**Excluding shipping, vet costs and other fees listed in the normal purchase of a kitten also, a necropsy from a veterinarian (at your own expense) must be provided to get a replacement kitten.

You should have your kitten checked regularly by your own vet to ensure continued health of your kitten. All kittens are treated with vaccinations, flea prevention medication and de-worming medication prior to leaving.  All medications and vaccinations are preventative measures to protect your kitten as our cattery is free of fleas and/or worms.

Our kittens are healthy ‘n purring when they leave our home, however shipping and moving from the place they grew up in will likely cause some stress. This stress can sometimes cause the sniffles, diarrhea or other mild issues like eye discharges usually only lasting for a few days after traveling to their new home. Even the most outgoing kitten will need time to adjust to his or her new surroundings. When your kitten comes home he or she may find a place to hide and be very skittish for the first few days. Give him or her plenty of time to explore the new environment and plenty of space, your kitten will warm up to you and before you know it your ragdoll kitten will be climbing up on your lap for some cuddle time.

When bringing a new kitten into a family with other pets or small children, be sure to give the kitten extra time to adjust and a space where your kitten can retreat to if it feels threatened or scared. Our kittens are used to being around other cats and small children, if going to a quiet home the kitten may seem lonely at first, particularly at night. Your kitten may feel most comfortable sleeping with you at night, especially if it is feeling lonely.

When can your kitten go home?

Kittens are ready to leave our home at about 10-12 weeks of age. When your kitten is paid in full you may pick your kitten up at our home or have the kitten shipped to you at your expense.  We can also drive to your location or meet you half way depending on location and distance.

Shipping information:

Driving expenses will vary and are to be paid by the buyer (Based on mileage and cost of the kennel). Shipped kittens require a vet certified health certificate and must be 12 weeks or older.  Kittens less than six months can be shipped two to a crate, however over 6 months they must have separate crates. Air Shipments of the kitten will be done via same day air, to the air port nearest your location. Air shipment fees include but are not limited to: shipping crate, vet fees (air shipment requires a certified vet certificate in order for the kitten to fly) and any vaccinations that shipment may require prior to shipment (international shipment may require vaccines not normally given in America), mileage fee for driving to and from the air port, microchips for international shipping. The price of the airline ticket and/or flight insurance will be paid upon arrival of kitten(s) at your destination as a COD. If payment is required before departure then the buyer will be notified.

Because these things take time, if you want your kitten shipped or driven to you it may take longer for you to receive your kitten. The quickest way to receive your kitten is for you to come pick it up at our home. Be sure to bring your kennel! If you do not have one, kennels are available for an additional fee because, kittens will not be allowed to leave without being in a kennel for their safety.

To make a payment on your kitten:

We accept PayPal, money orders, personal checks and cash. **

**If paid by personal check we will have to wait for your check to clear before shipment.
**Please do not send any payments without first contacting us.

Visiting Angel Eye Rags Cattery:

When the kittens are older than 6 weeks old you may visit but you must first contact us to set up a time. I’m a busy mom of four and it may at times be difficult to accommodate visitors, but we will do our best.

Previous Buyers:

We love to hear your feed back! Please, send us pictures of your kitten as he or she grows and any comments you may have about the pleasant experience you have had with us. Comments and pictures may be posted on our webpage in the future.

TICA Registered Ragdoll Papers:

All our kittens are TICA registered purebred ragdolls. You will receive your paper work after proof of spay/neutering is sent to us. We prefer for the kittens to be altered at 6 months of age, before the first heat cycle. We feel early altering is too dangerous for the kitten; surgery is never a minor thing. For breeder quality kittens, once the full amount is paid and the kitten is in your possession we will give or send the kitten’s papers to you.

Your kitten’s registered name will have a prefix of our cattery, so your kitten’s name will read Angel Eye Rags {chosen name} of {your cattery} (the suffix of your cattery name is optional) all pedigree cats retain their breeder’s prefix as a means of identification and linage tracking. This cannot be removed from their registered names.
